Great visits today: The Citadel of Dinant, the Collegiate Church, the Charles de Gaulle Bridge, we take a cruise on the Meuse to the Château de Freÿr via the Anseremme Dam-Lock, then we visit the Maison Leffe.
1. We wake up to the sunshine at the Dinant campsite in Belgium, by the water, with a magnificent view of the Meuse and the colorful houses of Dinant.

2. Now, let’s visit the Citadel of Dinant. You can take the cable car, but it’s also possible to go up on foot.
3. Dinant Citadel, we visit the various exhibitions and historical reconstructions of scenes of life at the time.
4. We are now visiting the dungeons of the Citadel of Dinant, and an exhibition on the First World War with reconstruction of trenches.
5. Lunch break at the top of the Dinant Citadel, Belgian fries with your choice of sauce, B-Balls…
6. The Collegiate Church of Notre-Dame de Dinant, a magnificent Gothic church dating from the 13th century.
7. This afternoon, we’re taking the Dinant – Freÿr cruise with Dinant Evasion. A magnificent cruise, a period boat (late 19th century!).
We’ll pass by the Anseremme lock, the old Priory, the Roches de Dinant, and, most importantly, the Château de Freÿr and its French-style gardens.
There’s an indoor and outdoor section, pets are allowed, and drinks and snacks are available for purchase.
8. The authentic Couques de Dinant, traditional local biscuits, made with honey and wheat flour only.
9. “Maison Leffe” in Dinant : The Leffe Belgian Abbey Beer Museum is located in Dinant. Located in the chapel of the former Bethlehem Convent, this museum offers visitors the chance to discover the history of Leffe and also offers tastings.

10. The giant letters Dinant with a magnificent view of the Meuse, the colorful houses, the statue of General de Gaulle and the Charles de Gaulle Bridge.
11. Dinner tonight on the Croisette in Dinant. Delicious fish and chips with shrimp croquettes.
