🇫🇷 Blancrupt (Alsace)

We’ve just arrived in Blancrupt, at the Gîte Terre de Sapins. The place is truly magnificent.

Terre de Sapins Gîte in Blancrupt, in the Vosges Mountains, Alsace.
We stayed in the “Horizon” chalet, with a magnificent view of the meadow, the mountains, and the round ball courts.
The accommodation sleeps 6 (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms), with a shared sauna.
The view is magnificent, and the decor is very stylish, Alsace-Vosges style; nothing has been left to chance.
There’s also “cladding.”

It’s time to eat! And as usual for me, almost always 100% local.
As a starter, a delicious Flammekueche (tarte flambée) with Munster cheese, very flavorful.
Main course, a meat pie with salad and fries.
As an aperitif (be careful, alcohol abuse is dangerous for your health), there’s “foin” wine (typically Vosges, from Gérardmer), and blueberry wine (more from the local area, Orbey), as well as traditional Alsatian digestifs (Marc d’Alsace Gewurztraminer), and very original homemade rums “Remonte pente” (blueberry, vanilla, chili) and “Apres-ski” (ginger, plum, cinnamon).
