I attended the 63rd Eguisheim Winegrowers Festival in Alsace, the weekend of August 30th and 31st, 2025.
For accommodation, I booked the Camping Des Trois Châteaux, perfectly located right next to the village.
I recommend exploring Eguisheim by getting lost in the many beautiful little streets of Eguisheim in Alsace, discovering half-timbered houses and old wine presses.
It’s even better during the 2025 Winegrowers’ Festival, with an Alsatian and wine-growing atmosphere everywhere.
In the center of Eguisheim, you’ll find the large castle square, the fountain, and the Saint-Léon chapel.
You can eat anywhere in the streets during the 2025 Winegrowers’ Festival.
This is a great opportunity to enjoy fresh oysters (from Oléron) as a starter, followed by traditional Alsatian tarte flambée (Flammekueche) with onions and bacon.
As it’s the winegrowers’ festival, glasses of white wine are available on every street corner, exclusively from Eguisheim winegrowers, of course.
Numerous street performances and entertainment are offered during the festival, including large puppets on stilts in traditional Alsatian costumes.
