We arrive in Dortmund, tonight is the Quarter-Final of the Nations League: Germany – Italy!

Not far from Dortmund Stadium, we came across a small hockey game and a stand selling Mettwurst, a German specialty!
This afternoon, before the match, we took a tour of the German Football Museum, right in the city center, across from Dortmund train station.
It’s easy to get there by metro from the stadium.

On display are the World Cup and Euro trophies won by the German national team, historic posters (1934 FIFA World Cup in Italy, 1936 Berlin Olympics), and the historic GDR (East Germany) jersey with its socialist state crest.
Return to Dortmund Stadium to enjoy the pre-match atmosphere, with German and Italian fans mixed in.
A very festive atmosphere, music, beer (beware: alcohol abuse is dangerous for your health), and currywurst!
The second leg of the Nations League quarter-finals is underway: Germany vs. Italy in Dortmund!
Great atmosphere, with many Italian fans present.
A thrilling match, 3-0 for Germany at halftime, and Italy comes back to lead 3-3 at the end.
Unfortunately, Italy is just one goal short of qualifying for the semi-finals (having lost 1-0 in the first leg).
