๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น Garda Lake

Italian breakfast (Moka espresso) with a view of Lake Garda, Tignale side, photo taken from the village of Aer.

A quiet morning (swimming pool and nature) in the air, on the heights of Tignale and du Lac de Garde.

It’s Tuesday morning, so we take the opportunity to visit the Tignale Market in downtown Gardola (Piazzale delle Ginestre).
It’s a small but rather pleasant market with many colorful stalls selling local fruits and vegetables. There’s even a modern water fountain, selling still and sparkling water!
The market takes place every Tuesday morning.

In the town centre of Gardola, in Tignale on Lake Garda, under a blazing sun (36 degrees), we find a very small, very old but still functional petrol station, 100% retro/vintage style.

Tonight, it’s pizza at Ristorante Pizzeria Al Torchio. It’s very good, but it’s always very busy, so reservations are required.

Late in the afternoon, we’re treated to a magnificent view of the village of Tignale and the peaks of Mount Baldo.
Lake Garda is as famous for its water sports as it is for its mountain hikes.
