In the heart of Venice, near the famous Pont du Rialto, you will find the Pescaria, the Marché aux historic poissons de Venise, or pêcheurs and marchands proposing the hyper frais poissons and delicious fish in the lagoon, after the 13th century.
The march is open all mornings, on Tuesdays and Sundays.
More photos from my visit to the Venice fish market, La Pescaria, a Venetian tradition!
I can’t miss this market; it makes me want to try everything!
Just on the side of the market with poissons you will find WEnice “Walk, Taste & Enjoy”, a small shop which offers cornets de poisson (mixed fried fish) with poissons pêchés in the lagoon, calamars frits, crevettes, sardines, anchovies and poulpe, to taste on site or to importer.
Now let’s have a little dinner, but I don’t want to miss the occasion and I’ll take a big gobelet of mixed fried food, delicious, delicious, like in Naples!
The rest is also proposed with Prosecco and Italian bières but beware that alcohol abuse is dangerous for health.
