Sunday 19 July 2026, the start of a short stay in Reims, the capital of Champagne. We drop our bags at the Best Western Premier Hôtel de la Paix, right in the centre.
A room with a cathedral view
The view from the hotel is quite unique: on one side Notre-Dame de Reims, where the kings of France were crowned, on the other the Auguste-Delaune stadium, home of Stade de Reims. Heritage and football in the same window, that suits me perfectly.
