Wednesday 22 July 2026, our last day in Reims. One more walk around the centre before heading back to Moselle.
What to see in Reims in a few days
Reims is easy to explore on foot. On the list: Notre-Dame Cathedral and the neighbouring Palace of Tau, the Basilica of Saint-Remi, Place Drouet-d’Erlon and its terraces and, of course, the cellars of the great Champagne houses, dug into the chalk, which can be visited by booking.
Practical info
- The cathedral, Palace of Tau and Basilica of Saint-Remi are UNESCO World Heritage sites.
- Champagne cellars: guided tours by booking, most near the Saint-Nicaise hill.
- Place Drouet-d’Erlon: lively pedestrian street, ideal for a drink on a terrace.
