The Vosges

Located in eastern France, bordering Alsace and Lorraine, the Vosges region offers an exceptional natural setting with lakes, forests, mountains, and lush valleys.
It’s the ideal destination for lovers of the outdoors, sports, and gastronomy, both in winter and summer.

I recommend visiting the following places:
* I only post photos of the places I’ve personally visited.

Lake Gerardmer

“The pearl of the Vosges” perfect for a pedal boat ride, kayaking, strolling around the lake, and enjoying a drink or Italian ice cream.

In winter, Gérardmer becomes a super-dynamic ski resort with numerous snowshoe trails and cross-country skiing trails.

La Bresse

A paradise for sports enthusiasts.

Hiking
Several trails offer spectacular views of the Vosges ridges, starting from the Schlucht or Hohneck Passes.

Mountain Bike Trail
Marked trails and a bike park open in summer.

La Chèvrerie du Brabant
A high-altitude farm offering educational goat tours and goat cheese tastings, a perfect experience for young and old.

La Confiserie des Hautes-Vosges
This artisanal confectionery is a must-see for discovering Vosges sweets and their manufacturing secrets.

Where to stay?
We stayed at the 4-star Hotel Les Vallées in La Bresse.
