On Friday 28 August 2026, back to the coal mine, and it’s also World Bow Tie Day.
Parc Explor Wendel
The Wendel pithead, a former coal mining site created in 1862, has become a cultural and leisure space for the whole family, with the Mining Museum and the washhouse. The stronghold of Lorraine’s mining history, a must in the region.
Le Mine 904, just reopened
Le Mine 904 by Le Monarque had just reopened under new owners. To start, a seafood salad with prawns and mussels, outstanding. Then a perfectly cooked swordfish steak with vegetables and fries, and an espresso to finish. The setting is incredible.
