The Saverne rose garden has opened: hundreds of rose varieties in full bloom, a real festival of colours and scents.
The marina and the Château des Rohan
At the marina, boats are moored facing the Château des Rohan. Easy to reach, with free car parks nearby, and the friendly atmosphere of the Festinettes in summer.
The Badbrunnen, the old wash houses
Another find: the Badbrunnen, Saverne’s old wash houses, a charming little spot worth knowing if you’re from Moselle or Alsace.
Marinara pizza at La Dolce Pizza
For lunch, trying a new Neapolitan pizza restaurant in nearby Phalsbourg: La Dolce Pizza. I had the marinara, tomato sauce, capers and anchovies.
