Friday 6 March 2026, the night before leaving. Before hitting the road to Milan, we spend the evening at one of our favourite restaurants in Moselle: Royal Djerba, in Phalsbourg.
Chorba frik, tajine and mint tea
On the menu: chorba frik, the Tunisian soup with cracked green wheat, a Tunisian tajine, which is more like a baked egg dish than a Moroccan tagine, and mint tea to finish. As always, a warm welcome, a nice atmosphere and delicious food.
Leaving for Milan at 2:15 am
Then a short night, if any: we leave at 2:15 am for Milan, through Switzerland. On the weekend’s programme, the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Games and the AC Milan - Inter derby.
