🇫🇷 Corsica - Beach day in Ghisonaccia and octopus on the plancha

Sunday 3 May 2026, a lazy day by the water. Ghisonaccia beach stretches for miles of sand, with the sea on one side and the mountains behind. In the morning there’s no doubt about where we’re having lunch.
Ghiso Beach sits right on the sand. We order the catch of the day, then squid, with the sea a few metres away. Simple, fresh, and exactly what you come to Corsica for.
A small confession: when you’re from Moselle, you take your Maggi everywhere, even to Corsica. For dinner we cook octopus tentacles on the plancha ourselves, just seared: pre-cooked, then olive oil, oregano and garlic. Delicious.
